FAQ
1. How often should I have my home treated for pests?
In order to maintain good control of most general pest species we recommend quarterly (every 3 months) treatments. However, we will definitely tailor a treatment plan for the specific needs of your home at your request.
2. Do I have to sign a contract for pest control at my house?
No. We don’t make residential customers sign any kind of contract. We simply remind you when it’s time for your next service and leave it up to you to decide when we come.
3. Is the treatment safe for my family and pets?
The emphasis in all of our treatments is safety and we train our technicians with this in mind at all times. With this being said all chemicals and pesticides carry with them an inherent amount of danger. The products we use indoors have less than ½ of 1 percent of the active chemical in them. We use this low dosage to minimize the risk to people while still being able to reduce pests inside of the structure. We also conduct a new client interview when you schedule service for the first time. We try to identify sensitive areas in the home so that we can adapt our treatments in these areas. Simply put safety is our priority.
4. What pests are covered in my regular quarterly service?
We guarantee Roaches, Rats, Mice, Crickets, and Silverfish; however we target a much wider range of insects during our regular visits.
5. What if I have ants?
Ants are treated on a case by case basis. Sometimes we can spot treat them with our regular service free of charge and this takes care of the problem. In other cases prescription treatment is needed for a one time fee. These treatments carry a 90 day warranty and are designed to eliminate the ant colony.
6. What do I do if I have termites?
Termite treatments and inspections are covered on the Termite page. Give us a call and we’ll be happy to discuss termites and your treatment options with you. If you need a Wood Destroying Insect (WDI) inspection for the purchase of a home we can do that as well.
7. Can you do anything about Mosquitoes?
We offer several different options for mosquitoes. We can spray yards and landscaping areas to reduce mosquitoes around your home for a one time fee. This treatment can last as long as a month depending on rain. We also install Coastal Misters mosquito misting systems on homes for a more permanent solution.
